5th Grade Cartoon Turkeys
Cartoon Turkeys under construction
I found a YouTube video on drawing turkeys and I do a step by step with the kids. It is interesting how they all come out different but they have some resemblances of each other too.
4th Grade Overlapping Pumpkins
Here the Fourth grade was learning about overlapping to create perspective and layering color to create values on the pumpkins.
3rd Grade Symmetrical Turkey
Here is a project I like to do with the third grade classes. We talk about the line of symmetry and fold the paper to use as a line of symmetry.
5th Grade One-Point Perspective
Pumpkin Patch One-Point Perspective
I wanted to let the students have the option to do a Halloween picture or just an autumn landscape. Some of my students do not celebrate holidays and I wanted to have a project that they all could participate. I found this on a blog and can't refind it right now but when I do I will link this to them. They used markers to paint the picture and I wanted to try this technique. I am art on a cart for 6 more weeks and this was an easy way to put color on a project. Thanks! The kids loved it.
