Paul Klee "Senecio

Paul Klee inspired art work from the 3rd grade.

We used Paul Klee "Senecio" and "Cat and Bird" Paintings to inspire third graders to create their own cat.  Some students used some Pablo Picasso techniques they learned in a prior lesson.

Henri Matisse "Polynesia"

This was a fun lesson where we learned about and artist and sea life at the same time.  We used two 9x12 light and dark color of construction paper which was cut and glued to a 12x18 white drawing paper.  (If to do again I would use 1 12x18 dark and cut the light 9x12 to glue on the dark.  Then we used a 12x18 white drew our frames cut out and glued to background color and used white middle to draw and cut out sea life.

Elf Feet inspired from another art teacher blog. (Will post when I find it again.  The elf with the long coat was inspired by "Buddy" the elf)
